Alpha of Shrewsbury has announced a three tier initiative that enables new businesses to benefit from its services at half price. Launchpad is a new service that has been created for businesses that have been trading for less than two years. Launchpad Bronze, Silver and Gold packages include a variety of marketing services from logo design through to e-commerce websites. Launchpad work is undertaken by Alpha apprentices as part of the company’s designer development program under the creative direction and supervision of our senior staff. The packages are therefore subsidised and available to qualifying businesses at 50% of the company’s normal rates.

Managing Director, Elaine Nester explained, “As a Business Link approved supplier, much of the work we undertake is supported by Business Link funding which means some clients get the benefit of a 50% subsidy anyway. This year we decided that we could eliminate the restrictions of this process and make low rates available to more companies by creating our Launchpad scheme. Website work is not eligible for diversification funding by Business Link this year and funding is not readily available to start-up businesses either. By applying to Launchpad, these projects can be undertaken for people who need them, when they need them.The packages are designed to provide businesses with the basics they need to get started. Quality is assured as Launchpad projects are directed by our senior team.”
 
Launchpad is for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and some not-for-profit organisations. Longer established or larger companies can also take advantage of the scheme when they diversify into new products or services or wish to test markets before full scale launches.
