Alpha wins Makefast contract october 2007
Alpha Design and Marketing Group have been awarded a contract to design a catalogue and website for Makefast. Makefast, which is based at the Mochdre Business Park in Newtown, is a leading UK based designer and manufacturer of safety and marine products, operating from a purpose built facility in Newtown, Mid Wales.
Head of Marketing at Makefast, Graham Williams said, “We put this project out to tender some months ago. Alpha was selected because their technical ability with database driven websites far exceeded the other companies that we approached."
He continued "Whilst by no means the least expensive proposal, the specification offered by Alpha represented value for money and will give us a solution which will expand with us. The specification will give us the ability to add and delete products in-house which is essential as our product range is subject to frequent review.”
Alpha’s Project Manager, James Lawrence, added. “The new Makefast catalogue and website will feature an expanded range of boat sunroofs and canopies which Makefast has designed, as well as their huge range of safety products and marine components.
