Asda awards contract to Alpha client june 2007

The team at Alpha are delighted that their client Christopher Williamson, who farms locally, has been awarded a contract to supply Asda beginning in June this year. The contract is for two special recipe beefburgers; Beef and Onion and Beef and Cracked Pepper. Chris, who farms at The Woodlands Farm just outside Shawbury and Citadel Farms at Hawkstone, specialises in the rearing of high quality beef cattle including Aberdeen Angus.

He distributes the beef via farm shops across the county and also via his website, www.citadelfarms.co.uk, which was designed and launched by Alpha at the beginning of 2007.

“We are delighted to have this order from Asda,” said Chris. “Traceability of supply is an important factor for retailers and Asda has a policy of supporting local producers.”
