New Director for Alpha july 2007
Alpha Design and Marketing has announced the appointment of a new director. Neil Russell-Smith joined the company this month to head up new business development. Prior to joining Alpha, Neil’s career has included creative direction and business development roles at several leading agencies in the North West including Deloittes and Montage Associates, now part of the Refinery Group. Most recently, Neil was responsible for the setting up and running of a creative wing within Manchester based The Dot Factory. “Neil has 17 years of experience in all aspects of running a creative company, from hands on brand creation and design direction through to new business acquisition,” said Elaine Nester, MD of Alpha.
“We have for some time been seeking someone of his calibre to help us to reach our objectives and we are delighted to have him on board. Neil’s experience matches very well with our own owing to the diversity of the sectors in which he has been involved. As a regional agency, we have rigorously avoided becoming typecast, so that we can attract projects from across a wide spectrum. We will continue to do that with the addition of Neil’s input.”
