Alpha signs clothing giant for further five years february 2008
Alpha Design and Marketing of Shrewsbury has confirmed this week that its client UK Leisurewear (UKL) of Swindon has renewed its contract worth an estimated £1 million pound over the next five years. The wholesale distributor of branded apparel first commissioned Alpha in 1999 to produce marketing material including a catalogue and a series of brochures aimed at the printwear and embroidery market. UKL has now extended the contract for a further 5 year term, a move which indicates a secure future for the 18 year old marketing services company.
Account Director Kevin Nester said, “We have enjoyed an eight year relationship with UKL so we are delighted, in the face of fierce competition, to have renewed the contract for a further five years. This contract contributes a significant amount of turnover so, with the security of an extended term ahead of us, we are now gearing up to attract similar clients with a large and regular requirement for marketing collateral, either in printed or electronic media. The project is a large one for a relatively small company such as Alpha but the renewal of the contract has proved our ability to handle it, and our client’s satisfaction with our service.”
